Can I register for more than one person?

Yes.

Can I register for only one day?

Yes, registration options include pre-Conference only, full-Conference, one day, and tradeshow only.

Can I cancel my registration without penalty prior to conference?

Cancellation requests must be received in writing via email, mail or fax by Monday, March 20, 2017 and are subject to a 50% cancellation and $75 administrative fee. Requests for refunds made after Monday, March 20, 2017 will be considered on compassionate grounds on a substantiated case-by-case basis.

If I am unable to attend conference can I send someone as my replacement?

Substitution requests must be received in writing via email, mail or fax by Friday April 7, 2017 and are subject to a $75 administration fee and adjustment based on membership status. Requests for substitutions made after Friday, April 7, 2017 will be considered on compassionate grounds on a substantiated case-by-case basis.

Where/When is the Celebrating Excellence Awards taking place?

The Celebrating Excellence Awards will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2017 from 11:30 am–1:00 pm in Hall C at the Shaw Conference Centre.

Can I purchase tickets for the Celebrating Excellence Awards?

Attendance at the awards lunch is included with your conference registration. Additional tickets are available for purchase through the conference registration site.

When is advanced registration pick up?

Advanced registration pickup will be available on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm and 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm in the Assembly Level foyer at the Shaw Conference Centre.

What are the dates for next year’s conference?

The HRIA 2018 Conferences will be on April 11-12, 2018 at the Calgary Telus Convention Centre and September 19-20, 2018 at the Shaw Conference Centre in Edmonton.

Where/When is registration?

Registration is in the Assembly Level foyer at the Shaw Conference Centre

Wednesday, April 26, 2017 from 7:00 am - 4:30 pm
Thursday, April 27, 2017 from 7:00 am - 1:00pm

Can I register for my colleague?

Individuals must be present to register and pick up their badge.

Can I switch sessions during registration?

Occasionally space becomes available in sold out sessions during the conference. The session must be listed on your badge to gain access to a session room. To check availability of space in a session please go to the Special Services desk at registration and they will make the adjustment if space permits.

What is happening on the Tradeshow floor – Hall B?

Breakfast from 7:00 am – 8:00 am, both days
Refreshments available throughout the day (e.g. coffee, water etc)
Networking breaks both days
Networking Lunch on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 from 11:45 am – 1:15 pm
Networking Reception on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 from 4:30 pm – 6:00 pm

Is there Wi-Fi available?

Yes! There is free Wi-Fi available for delegates and exhibitors. Login information will be provided onsite.

I am the winner of a Tradeshow Passport prize. Where/when do I pick it up?

Door prizes can be picked up at the Special Services Desk, located beside the Registration Desk in the foyer. Prizes should be picked up prior to 12:00 pm on Thursday, April 27, 2017.

Where can I find the presentations for the sessions?

Presentation slides will be available on Thursday, April 27, 2017 via Drop Box and will be sent to attendees in a conference wrap-up email - watch your inbox!
